After a gap of one year, Punascha is excited to organize the Durga Puja in person at MGC while observing all the Covid guidelines of the local government.

About the Event
The Puja will be held Saturday, October 16th at the Mahatma Gandhi Center (MGC). It will be a 1-day event.
All interested attendees will be able to witness the Puja upstairs while maintaining social distancing. Masks will be required by everyone while you are inside MGC even if you are vaccinated. At the door, we will be asking for proof of vaccination for 12 and above for admittance inside MGC. We will also monitor and limit attendance inside MGC at any given point of time.You will give Anjali in manageable batches following social distancing guidelines and vacate upstairs after that. We will observe Boron and Bisarjan in the evening, followed by wrap up.
We will set-up a Canopy in the patch of green and parking lot in front of the entrance of MGC for you to socialize and for events like Sindoor Khela. We will try to provide climate comfort.
We will also serve food there. We plan on serving Prasad, Khichuri for lunch and dinner with Mangsho.
Parents with children under 12 are asked to take responsibility for maintaining masks on their children and do what they deem is best for the safety of their children and others.
